Standing Elephant Silver Edition

Housed on a matte 4x6 card with printed image,  hand-colored logo, numbered, and signed silver artist edition standing elephant sticker of 22. 
 
This was the first elephant I had ever drawn, and was drawn completely out of memory. Elephants are one of the most iconic animals, and I really wanted to capture this animal in all its might. Although the ears in this drawing are rather large for an asian elephant, the dots and shapes in this design were very much inspired by the beautiful art of India and Thailand. I originally called this piece, “Where Great Beasts Meet,” as a representation of both an african and asian elephant.
